Marie-France brings nearly two decades of strategic communications, media relations, and special events expertise to CHP Canada.

Most recently, she was a Communications Advisor at Canada Post advising the parcels line of business on various initiatives. Prior to this, she was a Senior Consultant with Bluesky Strategy Group. In this role, Marie-France provided a full range of communications and public relations services focused on media relations, events and media training for clients such as the Canadian Heart Health Strategy and Action Plan, the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation, Canada 2020, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, The Senate of Canada and the Parliamentary Budget Officer.

Marie-France has also worked as Media Specialist with the Canadian Institute of Health Research where she increased the organization’s media exposure by 300% in English and 500% in French within a year. She also coordinated media training and provided issues management support.

In addition, she worked at Visa Canada where she helped bring new Visa cards with chip and PIN technology to the Canadian market, as well as media trained Olympic-sponsored athletes. She honed her communications skills while at a national public relations firm working with pharmaceutical companies and industry associations ranging from fashion to health, beer to government.

Marie-France studied communications at the University of Ottawa. She is busy mother of two pre-schoolers.
