Product quality is a marker for products that affects purchasing decisions and profitability. Quality improves brand awareness and recognition, which in turn creates loyalty and trust with customers. Q&R ensures that the quality of our client’s product is beyond five-star while being very conscious of their bottom line. Minimizing costs without sacrificing quality can bring a business of any stature to the next level.

3. What innovative new products/services are you working on?

As a result of the NEW Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) coming into effect January 15, 2019, we have added food licencing and labelling to our portfolio of Services. This enables us to aid clients in food activities that are subject to licencing, preventive control plans and traceability. In the SFCR many technical documents have been Incorporated by Reference (IbR), and amendments to the labelling requirements in the SFCR have been made as part of food labelling modernization. We are able to guide our clients through these changes to ensure their products remain compliant in the appropriate timeline.

4. Tell us about your people. What sets them apart from your competition?

Our employees have transferable skills from related fields giving them the ability to exceed client expectations. They also have related experience with importing, warehousing, distribution, testing and regulatory agencies. These skills and experience allow them to identify, monitor, and report on activities that have a regulatory impact.

Working across a number of departments and seniority levels, our professional staff use their excellent communication skills, time management, and organization to provide the best hands on personalized service that is an essential part of our company.

5. Describe your mission and vision, and why your company makes a great business partner.

Not only does Q&R help build a company’s brand and reputation, it ensures compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards pertaining to regulatory requirements. In many instances Q&R goes beyond mere compliance, guiding clients to strategic alliances (i.e. manufacturer/packagers/testers, importers) in order to increase profit for everyone involved. These partnerships help foster relationships with stakeholders including shareholders, customers, and government agencies, helping to keep them informed of issues that will have a positive effect on their business.
